As a teacher and community artist, the focus of Michaelanne’s work is to use artistic experiences to strengthen connection within communities, develop leadership skills in young people, and accompany incarcerated individuals toward wholeness. A West Virginia native, Michaelanne spent thirteen years living and working in north Philadelphia. She created Orange Korner Arts with a mission to cultivate safe space for youth and their families to explore their artistic abilities and spiritual calling enabling them to initiate positive change in their own communities. Michaelanne is a follower of Jesus and lives in Lebanon, PA with her family where she continues to work with individuals and organizations to develop creative therapeutic experiences and public art installations. Her passion is to see every person living their full potential as their true self in kinship with all others.
